Born in the Tau Province during a time of fracture and loss, Nyper carries the weight of a people without fully accepting their expectations. Her mother’s death came early, her origins clouded in secrecy, and her survival marked her as different long before she understood why.

Adopted by Captain Murrock, Nyper was raised between discipline and instinct — learning structure without losing her wildness. From childhood, she moved as if the earth itself responded to her presence.

Nyper is Tau by blood, but not by tradition alone. Her tribe believes she is chosen, marked by her unusual skin and the timing of her birth. Nyper herself remains unconvinced — uninterested in prophecy, expectation, or reverence.

Her loyalty is personal rather than political. Murrock is her anchor. Kettorah is her constant. Protection, to Nyper, is instinct; not oath.

Nyper’s combat style mirrors capoeira fluid, deceptive, and fast. Trained rigorously by Murrock, she has mastered the staff and carries her war claws with ease, though she prefers adaptability over brute force.

She possesses the rare ability to burrow into the ground, disappearing and re-emerging at will, using terrain as extension of self. Her movements confuse opponents, turning the environment into an ally.
