Dyslexic Godmother presents: Neuroverse

Where lived experience becomes access, and understanding becomes support

£5000.00

Neuroverse is a community-centred initiative dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals of all ages — with care, accuracy, and respect.

Founder Sandra Carter, known as Dyslexic Godmother, discovered she was dyslexic, dyscalculic, and autistic in her forties while studying at university. This late diagnosis profoundly reshaped her understanding of herself and her life journey.

“Now that I understand my traits, I can navigate life and its challenges with greater ease, compassion, and clarity.”

Neuroverse exists to ensure others do not have to wait decades for that understanding.

Through workshops, events, educational books, and animation, Neuroverse raises awareness and celebrates neurodivergent minds — while also addressing a critical gap: access to proper assessment.

Many free or low-cost online tests offer only partial insight and can miss key components of an individual’s neurodivergent profile. Accurate screening and diagnostic assessments, however, are often financially out of reach.

Funds raised through Neuroverse donations will be used to cover the cost of professional neurodivergent assessments, enabling individuals to receive precise, informed screenings that can genuinely support their wellbeing, education, and life navigation.

In the coming phase, a community nomination form will be introduced, allowing individuals to be nominated to receive funded assessment support.
